OrigamiUSA 2008 Annual Convention

Planning has started for the OrigamiUSA Annual Convention, to be held the last full weekend in June (June 27-30) 2008 at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York.

Our two special guests will be Nick Robinson from England and Nicolas Terry from France.

In addition, this year will be the 50th anniversary of the founding of The Origami Center of America by Lillian Oppenheimer, so we will be celebrating "50 Years of Origami in America," and we are planning several exciting features to honor this milestone.

We have been advised by FIT housing that, so far, there is no anticipated construction in their buildings. We should be able to offer reasonably priced accommodations directly across the street from the convention.
