Margaret van Sicklen has been appointed to the OrigamiUSA Board of Directors
to serve out the next three months of the seat formerly held by Ravi Apte,
who stepped down in February. In accordance with OrigamiUSA bylaws, the seat
will go up for election along with other Board seats in the June election.
Margaret Van Sicklen is best known as the creator of the Origami Page-A-Day
calendar, first published in 2000 and still going strong. Professionally she
has spent many years in advertising/brand building, skills that will be
useful to help promote the organization on a national level. She has been a
member of the OUSA since 1999. The Board of OrigamiUSA welcomes Margaret and
looks forward to her service!
