SPINNERS taught by Toby Schwartz |
LOW INTERMEDIATE |
Take a spin with Toby and make these models that are as much fun to play with as they are to fold. These models just need “blow” power to make them go. Toby will begin with some of Yami’s spinners and take off from there. |

SPIDER taught by Vishakha Apte |
HIGH INTERMEDIATE |
Your “spidey-senses” will be tingling when you see this fabulous spider! This model looks so unmistakably like a spider that people will wonder how it was folded from only one sheet of paper. Vishaka is excited to share this model created by Tuyen/Bahmi that she learned while at the BOS 40th celebrations. |

$ KOI FISH taught by Marcio Noguchi |
COMPLEX |
Marcio will teach the dollar koi fish which is one of the famous creations by Won Park. From a single dollar bill, this fish is complete with fins, lips, whiskers, eyes and scales. There is a legend about a koi climbing a waterfall which has made it a symbol of strength and determination. You will need it for this model, as the folding is likely to take up some part of the lunch period. But it’s worth it! |

NEW APPROACH FOR BEGINNERS taught by Toshiko Kobayashi |
SIMPLE |
Toshiko has been working on a new approach for teaching beginners that does not involve diagrams. Her methods allow the folder to learn by doodling with the paper. This is a continuation of the class she taught in the fall sessions, but that class is not a pre-requisite for this one. This is a great class for those interested in teaching beginners or for beginner folders (adult or child); all are welcome. |

INVERTEBRATE LIFE taught by Steve Terr |

This model’s got everything. It’s a money fold! It’s a modular! It’s a Robert Lang model! And the result is a nice six-petal flower with George Washington in the center. I like it! Leon likes it too and is happy to share this model and more money folds as time permits. |

PEACOCK LAPEL PIN taught by Doug Caine |
HIGH INTERMEDIATE |
Peacock models always make wonderful decorations because the “plumage” part is great for showing off lovely papers. Doug will teach his original model that slips neatly into the button-hole of your lapel. He will show you how minor variations can make the most out of whatever paper you use. Be prepared for several asymmetrical squash folds. |
