MODULAR CUBE ON A STAND taught by Becky Holt
|
INTERMEDIATE |
| When Is a Cube Not a Cube? When it is a stellated octahedron. Join Becky for two cubes and a stand to display them on a corner.
One cube from 12 pieces has tilted square windows and a basket weave look. The other folded from six sheets, has a textured
surface with pleats and pockets so that it hardly looks like a cube at all. Come and find out when a cube is not a cube.

STAR CARD taught by MaryAnn Scheblein-Dawson
|
LOW INTERMEDIATE |
| Mary Ann will share one of her most inventive card designs. It looks like a little book with a ribbon closure, but it opens
back on itself to create a star shape when viewed from above. Add some wonderful origami to each page and you have more than
a card-you have a gift. Make one for someone you love!

THE WEDGE taught by Shrikant Iyer
|
INTERMEDIATE |
| This cool modular looks like a cube with 3-D wedges popping out on each edge, so each side looks almost like a pinwheel. Shri
will teach you the ins and outs of this fun model. Take Becky's class in the morning and this in the afternoon for a really
cube-y day!

3-D PENGUIN taught by Deb Pun
|
HIGH INTERMEDIATE |
| Deb will teach Jun Maekawa's "15 degrees Penguin." I'm not exactly sure why it's called the "15 degrees" penguin, but it
sure is 3-D and very, very cute.

FUCHSIA FLOWER taught by Rachel Katz
|
HIGH INTERMEDIATE |
| Rachel is all set to teach this wonderful Shumakov flower. This fuchsia is wonderfully realistic with the characteristic drooping
stems and multi-petaled flowers. Fuchsias don't usually need much sunlight and this one will look great without sun or water!
I wouldn't mind having a hanging pot full of these to cheer up a gloomy Fall day.
