ARTIST TRADING CARDS taught by Jean Baden-Gillette

| Learn the basics of Artist Trading Cards from their fascinating history to new trends. Each card is the size of a baseball
card, 2.5" x 3.5" designed to fit into a standard protective sleeve. Jean will show you how to make your own origami-themed
cards. Create multiple cards in class and begin your collection by trading with your classmates. All materials supplied,
but you may want to bring collage materials, embellishments or very small origami models. Materials fee $3.

For those who wish to learn or review the model, Gay will offer tips for folding and remembering the model. Though the model
is rated intermediate, to take this class you should be a strong high intermediate folder, skilled at assembling 3D modulars.
Please review the Sonobe unit before class.

| Space is really, really big, so you need a starship to get around and Marc has just the thing. This model is similar to ships
you may have seen on television since it has a saucer section and warp nacelles, but I assure you it is Marcs design. Full

PRETTY POCKETS taught by Carole VerEecke

| What does a crown have in common with two bowls and two purses? They all have pretty pockets to fill and admire. Carole
will teach a traditional Chinese Junk Bowl, a five compartment Lazy Susan, a simple purse and a Japanese Tato with two outside
pockets and an inside one. Folders must be familiar with the house, blintz, fish and double boat bases. So come fold and
pick your favorite pocket!

| MaryAnn will teach a bevy of beautiful boxes based on the masu box plus a greeting card with a flat model that looks like
a cube. In the quilting world it's called the "Tumbling Block". These box models are great for gift giving, organizing or
decorating. More boxes as time permits.

| It's the year of the boar! To celebrate, June will teach this fearsome, but friendly fold complete with color changes for
the tusks (this requires a tiny snip in the paper-but don't let that bother you). When folded from gold foil, it can be made
3D!

| This realistic 3D turtle is folded from square paper, but uses an hexagonal base. John will teach his original (un-diagrammed)
model complete with detailed head, claws, and a segmented domed shell. It even has toes!
