It’s nice to be able to reintroduce an old work.

The curved edges will form beautifully when metallic foil paper is used. The model is easy to assemble if the creases are as sharp as possible.

Editor’s Note: Join Miyuki for two classes on June 27 during OrigamiUSA’s online UnConvention.

Does this model need circular paper? What kind of foil paper is best for this model?
Will diagrams be included with the class?

The model uses square paper. No smaller than 3-inch, I'd say. Miyuki has used a Japanese paper that has one metallic side and one matte paper side. Almost any foil paper except the thin Japanese foil should work. Even a non-foil paper will work. The diagrams can be downloaded from within the Stella Conica article by clicking on "See PDF diagrams," located in the caption of the photo. Miyuki won't be teaching Stella Conica at the UnConvention. She will teach a modular called Little Circus and a two-piece house. Diagrams are usually not included with convention classes, but I don't know if this is true for these particular classes.
