Students will need black piece of Origami paper or dark paper

Each model is made from one sheet of letter-size paper.

9.5" kami paper (duo color is nice)

Ideally one sheet of large foil, or one sheet of large kami (30cm or larger).

6 inch paper.

There are no required supplies and all types of paper work. Paper size is recommended to exceed a 6” square.

x1 sheet of kami paper (15x15 cm^2 is doable, but bigger is preferred)

One square 8” or larger, kami or similar weight recommended

Students will need 2 pieces of paper to make this model

A single square of very large kami or foil paper is recommended (15"/38cm). With more practice you can use smaller sheets.

Six squares of 6-inch kami

10-inch kami recommended, but 6-inch and other papers will work. A bone folder is not necessary but definitely useful if you happen to have it

Requires one square sheet of paper, 8" or larger recommended.

Please bring at least 3 sheets of origami paper. Kami or two-tone is recommended for the color changes in the Garden Gnome and Butterfly. 15cmx15cm paper size is also recommended, but other sizes are okay.

Rectangle

• 4 sheets lid, 4 sheets base
• 6"-12" squares depending on the size box
• Kami, Duo, Kraft or Scrapbook paper
• 2 or 4 colors work best or duo

This model requires eight square sheets of duo paper. Thin 3" (7.5cm) squares are recommended. You will see both sides of the paper on the completed model, so consider your paper and color choice before folding this star.

A straight edge (several inched long) for scoring straight lines, and one scissors.

6 inch kami

6inch or 10inch Duo Paper

One square 8” or larger, kami to elephant hide weight.

Just a sheet of 6-inch kami

A single square of larger kami is recommended (10"/25cm). With more practice you can use smaller sheets.

9.5" kami paper

One square of two-color paper (I suggest the square be at least 10" on a side), which we will cut in half at the start of class.

Scissors or knife may be useful, but tearing your starting square in half can also work.

While the model can be assembled without glue, some glue can help strength the assembly and keep the layers of paper from opening up.

A single piece of origami paper (kami) is recommended. A 25 x 25cm or 26 x 26cm sheet will be fine. For the really experienced folders that enjoy a special challenge, this model is very achievable with 15 x 15cm paper or smaller. If it's your first time, however, I'd still suggest using a larger sized paper to really enjoy the aesthetics of the design.

Larger paper of US $-bill proportion will be provided for the initial fold, crisp dollar bill is needed for the final model.

One square of Japanese foil or tissue/foil laminate paper, 25cm minimum, 30cm recommended
Alternatively, this can be wet folded from a 14" square of thick paper, which is my preferred medium.

15cm kami works just fine. Glue and tweezers can improve shaping, but are not necessary.

2 sheets 6" kami (or larger)

Kami, 4 to 6 inches.

For this class, you will need 18 sheets of standard Origami or Duo/Double-sided paper in 6"x 6". You will also need a bone folder/creasing tool. Glue or tape may be needed for some.

Box: 2 sheet 6 " ( or larger) kami
Embellishments: 3 sheets 3" kami ( or 1/2 size of box)

13" (minimum) kami or similar thin/strong unicolor beige/sand color

Regular origami paper (6" x 6" or larger)

Teacher will provide pre cut materials for 25 students who are signed up for this class.

Units from thicker paper are a bit harder to assemble, but gives a very secure, sturdy cube

Tweezers may be helpful in assembling the band

Vase: 15 cm square (duo: green/other)

Suitable paper will be provided. Standard 10-inch origami paper will be helpful for practice.

This is a messy class, so an apron or other cover-up, plastic gloves are useful. If you have extra newspaper for drying your work--most supplies will be from OUSA and the instructor.
What I will bring—water color paper, brushes, paints, (neon W.C., granulation w.c. and water color powder) and palettes.

1:√3 rectangle ; students will learn how to cut 2 of these rectangles from a 6x6 kami

One 6" square of kami paper.

I'll be providing the white paper needed to make the lamps and will cut it to size beforehand. If students wish to purchase the specific bulb and lamp bases that I use, I will provide them so that students can walk away with a finished and functional lamp!
