The Lending Library is a circulating library that operates via US Mail. The collection consists primarily of out-of-print and hard-to-find books including a complete run of the Friends of the Origami Center of America and OrigamiUSA Newsletters, The Paper, and Convention Programs/Annual Collections. Here's your chance to find instructions for that rare, out-of-print model you found in the Origami Database!

Most of the books are in English. A few are in other languages, including Japanese, Spanish, and Italian. The Lending Library runs on a cost-recovery basis. Borrowing charges cover postage, packing materials, return postage, and delivery tracking and confirmation.

To borrow from the collection you must be a current member of OrigamiUSA, your membership must be current for the next 90 days, and you must reside in the United States (for shipping purposes).

Borrowing fees are:

  • 1 item: $10.00
  • 2 items: $15.00
  • 3 items: $20.00
